3 Days Murchison Falls & Game Safari

7.30-7:45 a.m. Depart Kampala. Take a brief break in Masindi before proceeding to Murchison Falls NP. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the top of Murchison Falls (Please bring your own or order when booking your trip). Take a guided walk around the powerful Murchison Falls, with an optional mini-hike to view the sister falls – Uhuru Falls. Travel on to Red Chilli Rest Camp on the South Bank of the Nile. Spend the night in our twin safari tents or upgrade to banda accommodation .

Day 2

6.45 a.m. Depart for the ferry crossing to the North Bank, where you will enjoy a 4-hour game drive around the Nile Delta area of the Park. Possible animal sightings include Lion, Leopard, Hippo, Giraffe, Elephant, Buffalo, Antelope & Warthog, plus over 450 bird species…but please note, none of these are guaranteed! 11.00 a.m. Take the ferry back to the South Bank and enjoy lunch and a well-deserved break at Red Chilli Rest Camp. 2.15 p.m. Depart for a 3-hour Boat Cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of the Falls. Along the way, you will be able to view a wide variety of birds and wildlife (numerous hippos and crocodiles!) – as well as breathtaking scenery. Drinks are on sale on board. Followed by a second night spent enjoying our hospitality and sitting around the campfire. Night at Para Lodge

Day 3

8.30 a.m. Depart for the ferry to enjoy a final game drive along the Wangkwar sector, for approximately 1.5/2 hours before leaving the park. A final chance to spot some more wildlife! 12.00. p.m. Arrive at Karuma Falls. Hike for 10-15 minutes to view the breath-taking Falls. Take a picnic lunch at the Falls before travelling back to Kampala. Food can be purchased at Red Chilli Rest Camp. You will arrive back in Kampala between 4.30-6.30,depending on traffic.
